Join A21 and Research Libraries UK to discuss: Why do organisations succeed or fail at digital transformation?

Update. You can find the video from this even here at the RLUK website.

Original Description. Join Athenaeum21 on 19 January 2022, at 14.00-15.00 (GMT) for the Research Libraries UK 2022 Digital Shift Forum, where we will be presenting the findings from our book, Technology is Not the Answer: Why “digital” is not the most important aspect of your digital strategy, and engaging in a discussion of meeting the challenges of digital transformation in participants’ own institutions.

The book’s findings are the result of an environmental scan, commissioned by Concordia University in Montréal, examining how and why digital strategies in a range of organisations succeed, and also why they ‘fail’. The answers are complex, but there are important trends worth understanding. Join us to learn how and why people, culture, leadership, and organisational alignment are as or more important for digital transformation than data and technology.

The discussion will be moderated by Kirsty Lingstadt, Director of Libraries, Archives, and Learning Services at the University of York. Join us at the Research Libraries UK Digital Shift Forum #RLUKDSF

The event is free and you can register here.
